An exciting game!

All of us have – at one point in our lives – have been in a boring meeting. These meetings where you think nothing is ever achieved but simply to waste away precious (even chargeable) minutes of your labour-filled day. I used to pass the time by mentally counting the number of times the word “like” was mentioned. Then, a former colleague of mine at Cambridge introduced me to the exciting world of B***s**t Bingo!

B***s**t Bingo is best played during meetings, especially those motivation meetings or project tracking meetings. Highly recommend multiple players but make sure that one meeting attendee is NOT a player (usually the meeting chairman and the boss are not allowed to play). Guaranteed to make YOU more attentive to what is being said at meetings!

So, what will you need? How do you play?

  • Each player needs a play card. Get any blank paper, draw lines on it, dividing it into 9 sections.
  • Get someone to write a word or short phrase on each box. These should be commonly used or most popular words or phrases that are likely to be mentioned at the meeting. Examples: effort, delay, cost-benefit, etc. Write different words/phrases on each play card.
  • Hand a card to each player before going into the meeting.
  • At the meeting, the first instance the word/phrase is uttered, cross it out from your play card.
  • When you have crossed out 3 words/phrases horizontally, vertically or diagonally on tha card, you stand up and shout B***s**t!

HIGHLY ADDICTIVE GAME. After playing several sessions of B***s**t Bingo, you may look forward to the next meetings and even try to ask the meeting chairman or your boss for advanced info in order for you
to prepare for the meeting in due time.

B***S**T!
