Went to see a car that is being sold today. I asked J to come with me so he could check it. Got there and saw this nice looking Rover 200. J then started checking the car inside and out. I took it for a test drive and it was light and easy on the wheel but I had a little trouble on the clutch. J told me that that is so typical with Rovers. When I had enough, we took the car back to the sellers driveway. Price: £1900. Colour: navy blue.
But here are J’s observations:
- marked down for 16-valve engine but it only had 8-valves
- no electric windows
- no central locking
- stereo had to be re-coded
- among other things
Verdict: NO BUY.
Like
