Okay, it’s Sunday afternoon and although I have a lot of home chores to do (I even brought home work that needs to be finished by tomorrow!), I checked out more of the quizzes on the Your New Romance website – the one that told me that I should be dating an Australian. This one particularly interested me because when I was in Cambridge, there were 3 other girls in my project working with me and they sort of mapped each one of us to each SATC (Sex And The City, for those who don’t have a clue of what this one stands for) character. Well, they mapped me out as the Samantha; while A was Carrie, (another) A was Charlotte and F was Miranda. They identified me as Samantha because of this knowledge that they had with my relationship with one of the IT guys who worked for the company which we were doing the project for. It was more of a sexual relationship than an emotional one (ugh! have I shared too much?) And then, there was this bloke I met, who religiously watched the series, btw, who said that I was a Charlotte because I dress so feminine! Now, after taking the quiz, I suppose they were wrong!

What do I think? I think, yeah, I’m more of a Carrie. Well, for one, I totally felt the same way like her in that episode where she celebrate her 35th (not that I AM 35 years old and not that being 35 is bad) and she felt totally alone, without someone special in her life. I felt so much like that when I celebrated my 30th birthday this year (there I revealed my real age!). And in a freakish coincidence, I saw that episode on the Paramount Comedy channel a day after my birthday. Plus, the fact the Carrie wrote down everything she felt, especially with the men she dated. I do so myself, except that I don’t publicly publish them. And I do have the same sort of fashion style like Carrie – although you won’t catch me dead or alive in a tutu! Last and the most important similarity of all……we both love SHOES!

Yes, I am convinced now…I AM A CARRIE.
