I am finally doing this!
In the tradition of most blogs, here are 20 things about me.
1. I’m an only child.
2. I’m a lefty.
3. I learned my alphabet and numbers by watching Sesame Street on TV from the age of 3. They didn’t let me into kindergarten until I was 5.
4. Never thought I would be studying in the University of the Philippines but thank God, I did.
5. I never applied to get into Ateneo de Manila University. I did for De La Salle University, passed but I turned it down.
6. My ultimate dream is to be an astronaut.
7. I love shoes. I’m UK size 4, Europe size 37, US size 6.
8. Bags follow closely behind.
9. I really don’t like going through racks and racks of clothes during the sales.
10. I have 5 watches.
11. I love dark, dark, dark chocolate.
12. I’m a coffee drinker — black with 1 sugar, please. I sniff the aroma before I take a sip.
13. I love being on plane but I hate waiting at airports — yes, even when there is an immense presence of duty free shops.
14. I could jet off to New York for a weekend with only an overnight bag with me. But I usually come back with another new suitcase.
15. I am a member of several frequent flyer programmes — the ones I use most are Miles and More from Lufthansa and AAdvantage from American Airlines.
16. My preferred hotel is the Hilton.
17. I love Bossa Nova music, especially Astrud Gilberto’s voice. Makes me feel that I’m always by the sea.
18. I’m a big fan of musicals.
19. I auditioned for the German cast of Miss Saigon back in Manila.
20. I can dance.

Well, so far it seems we have two things in common: I, too, am an only child (unless you count my father’s other children, whom I’ve never met…) and I love dark, rich, creamy, smooth, dark chocolate!
If you ever come to south Florida, we’ll have to enjoy some good chocolate together!
