“her smile, her kiss, her perfume”

Have you seen that new advert from Chanel No. 5? It stars Nicole Kidman and was directed by Baz Luhrmann and it was done a la Moulin Rouge (sans the yummy Ewan McGregor but had an equally yummy Rodrigo Santoro!)

Nicole plays a big celebrity who suddenly went missing one day where she escaped by getting into a taxi where Rodrigo also got in. He takes her to this rooftop (with the Chanel logo, of course!) and they fall in love. Then she had to go.

Last scene has Nicole walking on the red carpet where the press was waiting for her and taking her photograph. She then stops midway and looks back up to the rooftop and sees him sitting there all forlorn and gives him the sweetest smile.

Aaaaahhhh…:touched:

  1. i’ve been hearing about this ad of nicole. fat chance it ever gets to be shown here. :protest: thanks for describing it! at least i can visualize how the ad went. :dopey:

  2. nyek, namali ako ng positioning nong nag-poprotest na icon! ironic tuloy ang dating nong next statement ko. sorry :scared:!!!!

  3. don’t worry, ping, get ko kung san ka protest! why do you think it won’t be aired over there sa pinas?

  4. charl naman, you know naman ang market ng tv dito, hindi pang Chanel caliber. why waste advertising on tv kung hindi naman ma-rereach ang target market mo. kung print pa siguro makakarating dito kasi may mga international magazines here. pero kung sa local magazine, madalang rin ang international ads eh. :grumpy:

  5. you’ve made quite a good point there, my friend. :listen: but who knows, there is still a number of zobels, ayalas, sorianos, tans, gokongweis and the rest of the people who were at edsa II as target! :shhh: why else would LV, gucci, and other haute couture labels have shops in greenbelt?
