That’s it! My weekend is officially gone.
I need to finish a bid response that is due in Atlanta on the 8th of December.
The RFP documents came in about 3 weeks ago but I was told that someone else would put together the response. So, I busied myself with other things. Now last Friday, these people pulled out and left us high and dry!
Not wanting to be left out of a big, fat contract, my company decided to proceed, with us being the prime contractor. So, my boss and our US sales person began to mobilise resources but it would still be down to me to put the document altogether. I was told that an extension might be granted but I wouldn’t count on it.
So, that only leaves me tomorrow and Monday since printing will be done by our Boston office. Tomorrow does not help either because it’s our company Christmas lunch and afterwards, I got my dentist appointment. Ugh!
