Liverpool = The Beatles
There isn’t anymore statement truer than that.
It must be difficult to uphold the legacy of possibly the most successful and popular music band in our known history. But Liverpool has been doing well in upholding just that. There is The Beatle’s Story Museum where the entire story of the group is told, from beginning to end, from being The Quarrymen to being (the original!) Fab 5 and to finally up as John, Paul, George and Ringo! Yes, the four lads who shook the world and the raison d’etre of BEATLEMANIA! Then, Mathew Street has practically become a shrine for the band. This is where the CAVERN CLUB was and still is located. The brick wall is full of names of bands who have played there over all these years.
Here are other photos I took:
It’s hard not to be a Beatles fan. Their songs have been remixed and revived over and over again. They have influenced a lot of the bands that have come and gone themselves. Indeed, the world would have been hard to Imagine without them.
But even with all the walking, I still missed Penny Lane…
