I just received a call from my boss telling me that the main player of the consortium that is bidding on a big business (sorry, can’t tell you, non-disclosure thingy) has pulled out. This just throws all the work we’ve done so far in the rubbish bin, including the meeting that I had today with their colleagues.
VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTING!
Especially when what we (my company) could offer has a fairly good chance to win it as we are the incumbents so we are the least risk option in the transition.

Save for the next proposal! I believe that nothing goes to waste, although you need to keep the “rubbish” for years at times. At least you can relax now. :cheerful:
