On the bus home today, there was a man with 2 little girls. Not sure if these are his daughters but one certainly is because she kept screaming, “Dad!”
When I got on the bus, the 2 girls were sitting on the first row of seats. They were giggling and fidgeting. After a while, both got up — while the bus is moving, mind you — and ran to the upper deck. The father was sitting at the back row and only shouted back, “Whatever, do what you want.” One can hear running on the upper deck — the bus was empty there — and more giggling. Then we heard a big THUD! It was followed by “Daaaaadd!” Not bothered, Dad simply shouted back, “Behave, you two!” He remained in his seat.
I was somewhat annoyed because he didn’t even care to check if the 2 were opening the windows and sticking their limbs out of the bus or if that thud has caused on the girls’ head to bleed. Over ba? Well, if you’re a responsible parent, you would. I would, if they were my kids.

er.. depends… how little exactly were the little girls? hehehe… but then i think dads are generally more relaxed than moms eh….
They are probably around 3-4 years of age, Ruth.
sigh… the story of my childhood…
but i grew up with 3 brothers, which made my parents used to the thudding and yelping.
