A sad day

A terrible thing has happened in London this morning. Injury to innocent people is never good news.

Whilst I am living and working around 40 miles out of central London, I do occasionally go there for work and personal matters as well. In fact, I was there yesterday morning to apply for a tourist visa at the Mexican Consulate. Anyway, in terrible times like this, the entire country has become ‘London’ as in one way or another, we are connected.

Nevertheless, I do thank you all for the concern. It is always good to know that people have me in their minds even when I don’t get to speak to them on a day-to-day basis. My friends, who do actually work and live in London, are also okay. One of them uses the Aldgate tube station — where one of the explosions occurred — to get to and from work, but today, she was off work as she was not feeling very well. Talk about a blessing in disguise.

Please continue your prayers for those who have been affected by these incidents. Pray that our good Lord will comfort them and their families in this time of trouble. Please also pray for those who have perpetuated these acts of violence and let God extend His mighty hand of justice. Lastly, please pray for the entire British nation and its leaders, for God to heal the wounds and the courage to carry on without having to live in fear.

  1. :tilt: You’re right. While it is a relief to know someone we personally care about is okay, there are many who were not so fortunate… my heart and prayers go out to all involved. :crying:

  2. good to know that you are fine, at least. Ingat ka ha. Don’t go to the city.

Grabe, I saw the footage and can remember some of those places! Lalo ka na siguro.
