While waiting for today’s episode of Jewel in the Palace on TV, I thought to give you all a quick post to share some photos I took in Bandung, Indonesia. This was taken at the crater of Tangkuban Parahu, an active volcano, which is not far away from the city of Bandung.

We really got close to the crater. Although it is considered as an active volcano, it was pretty safe to be near to it like we did. They told me that when there is activity, they do close the place from the public. The last time they closed it was 3 months ago when the crater was bubbling. It was also closed when the tsunami happened last year during boxing day.
There are trees surrounding the crater and I found the colour of the wood to be really interesting. See the photo below…see how dark they are!

P.S. Jewel in the Palace is a Korean tele-novela (soap opera) on GMA (Channel 7) that my mother sort of follows. They have cooking tips! :tongue2:
