You can permanently disable the WYSIWYG editor by going to USERS in your Admin Panel, Your Profile, scroll to the bottom and uncheck the ‘USE THE VISUAL RICH EDITOR WHEN WRITING’ option.

i planned on upgrading the marikit sites but read somewhere that 2.0 still has quite a no. of bugs. so ayun, i’ll wait for 2.1 na muna siguro.
