Sports-filled

It’s a mega sports fest this weekend here in Europe…

…World Cup
Of course, the biggest show of all time, the World Cup kicks off today with a match between Germany and Croatia Costa Rica. Then tomorrow, England begins their quest against Paraguay. Will Rooney play?

…Roland Garros
Semi-final today of the men’s singles of the French Open. Top notch! Federer already won against Naldbandian and as I am writing this, Nadal is up against Ljubicic, 2-1 on the first set. The finals on Sunday will be amazing.

…Silverstone
The F1 continues at the Silverstone hoping to forget the Schumacher event in Monaco two weeks’ ago. Britain is, of course, rallying behind Jenson Button (sigh…) but he has forewarned the British public for a no-podium finish. Aaaww, c’mon Jenson…you’ll always be in pole position for me!

The weather will be seemingly cooperative, too, as Britain is set out for a scorcher this weekend. Great time to be out and about but with all these sports events, maybe a portable TV isn’t all that bad.

Happy weekend to you all!
