I’ve recently discovered this application on Facebook on finding out your stripper name. It’s fun! I’m not exactly sure what algorithm they use but mine turned out to be Jasmine Sunnykiss. Still not quite stripper-ish, just a tad maybe. So, I searched the net for more stripper name generators that will sound (or read) more convincing. Google UK will return 2.2 million results for “what is your stripper name” as search key. Here are my names from the first 2 pages of the search results.

According to Jeremy Zadowny’s blog, your stripper name is composed by using the name of your first pet as your first name and the name of the first street you lived as your last name. So, in my case, my stripper name would be Alfie St Mary — sounds more like a starlet name to me!

There are different variations to this algorithm — use your mother’s maiden name instead of the street name as your last name or the first name is your favourite ice cream flavour in place of your pet’s name. But the mother’s maiden name won’t work too well where the women don’t really change their names when they get married, like in Spain. I do like the ice cream flavour though, which makes me Mocha St Mary.

For a more ‘scientific’ way of determining your stripper name, follow the instructions below.

1. Use the third letter of your first name to determine your new first name.

2. Use the second letter of your last name to determine the first half of your new last name.

3. Use the third letter of your last name to determine the second half of your new last name.

Phew! Did you manage to follow that? Okay, so according to this my stripper name is Fantasia Sparkle Rock. Whoa, that sounds more like a muppet character to me!
