One of my favourite clothing shop — Banana Republic — is finally opening its doors here in the UK in January 2008! The flagship store will be located in London’s Regent Street. I wonder how they’ll do though as they will be opening during the sales season. I also hope that prices would be something reasonable. Much better if they simply convert their US prices to UK prices… hehehe!

Hahahaha! I’m rejoicing too, Charl! I just found out Mandarina Duck just opened their US online store! Prices are better than the UK equivalent, though I still enjoyed our trek to their Conduit Street store.
Here’s hoping that BR UK isn’t priced like Gap is priced in France. Ugh, I still cringe at paying 165€ for a coat that I would have paid $95.00 for stateside. Stupid me for bringing just a light jacket in full on fall weather.
