(Continuing from ‘Arriving in style‘)
As mentioned in the previous related post, the hotel we stayed at is about an hour from the town of Bellagio on the Navigazione (the ferry boat). The ferry cris-crosses along the lake, which makes it a good way to see all the towns in Lake Como. From Moltrasio, the route to Bellagio goes through the towns of Torno, Urio, Faggeto, Pognana, Careno, Brienno, Argegno, Sala C, Isola C, Lezzeno, Campo, Lenno, Tremezzo, Villa Carlota, and Cadenabbia. I will let the photos speak for itself.

1. The ferry arriving at the Moltrasio stop

3. A villa between Moltrasio and Urio, nicely concealed by tree hedges

4. This is Urio. As there were no passengers waiting to get on or off, the ferry did not stop there

6. Another Star Wars location, I believe

7. Here is the Star Wars villa as the ferry went around the bend

8. Church in Argegno, if I am not mistaken

10. The view on the approach to Bellagio
In parting, there is this one view that caught my attention and reminded my highly of the cheese rolling here in the UK (Gloucestershire). Cheese rolling is basically is an event where they roll a block of cheese from the top of the hill and people run after it. Mad, isn’t it? Well, imagine then if cheese was rolled on this hill.
Next: Bellagio and Como
