Mile-high club members not allowed

Singapore Airlines was the first airline company to fly the largest passenger aircraft — A380 — on a commercial flight. The maiden flight was a Singapore-Sydney flight last 25th of October. This new and monstrous plane allowed airline companies to boost their luxury cabins and have double beds on first and/or business class. Since Singapore Airlines claim to be on the forefront of providing comfort and indulgence to passengers, they have installed 12 first class suites. However, they have asked the fortunate passengers to refrain from having a little bit of a romp in this cabin. Mile-high club members will not be allowed to gain mileage on the A380 routes then.

The Register says that denying passengers of this “pleasure” was a bit too much since SIA is, after all, charging S$21,694 (approximately £7,202) for the suite. Anyone paying that much would surely like to do any damn well he or she (or both) pleases!
