Fuel surcharge refund

Have you bought a ticket in the US or in the UK for British Airways or Virgin Atlantic Airways flight(s) between 11 August 2004 and 23 March 2006? If you have, then you may be entitled to a partial refund — 33.3% — on fuel surcharge!

Apparently, a US court has authorised to notify the passengers that might have flown long haul during the said period. I got 2 letters in the post so possibly one of the flights I made had qualified under this ruling. As far as I can remember, however, I made these flights for business. So the company I work for is actually making the claim as one since they are ones who paid for them anyway.

If you think you have made such long haul trips on these airlines during this period, then check www.airpassengerrefund.com or www.airpassengerrefund.co.uk where you will find more information including the contact numbers or filing your claim online. Claims must be received no later than 31 December 2012.
